Shawn Alladio forsaw the PWC lifesaving rev-olution way back in 1979. She developed the K38 Way of training and spread worldwide the positive attributes in the water rescue community using these unique small boats. Her lifelong dedication towards the advancement of boating safety, education and ensuring the public safety and recreational users has taken the K38 Way to 22 countries and saved thousands of lives.

All courses meet NSBC / NASBLA / USCG and Hawai`i boating rules and regulations. K38 Water Safety and KANALU K38 course materials and training are conducted based on USCG, NASBLA, NSBC, and DLNR/DOBOR rules & regulations governing PWC (thrillcraft) operations in Hawai'i, USA, and internationally.
K38 Water Safty and KANALU K38 instructors are NSBC certified and recognized by NASBLA, DOBOR, & USCG.
